We specialise in natural professional manicures. We work with your natural nails, we do no add tip or extensions. 

Our manicure is done using the Russian E-file manicure technique. E-file is the use of an electronic file with a small headpiece which does all the cuticle and nail prep work dry. Each appointment includes a health assess of your nails, where you can discuss any issues you are having with your nails and work together with the nail technician to achieve the results you are wanting. We use Bio Sculpture Ethos range in all our manicures to add nutrients and hydration to your hands and nails. 

Our infection control standards are to the highest level. We use medically grade sterilising of all reusable instruments. This create a safe environment and minimised the risk of infections. 

We specialise in Bio Sculpture Evo Gel. Evo is ideal for those who care about their nail health and are tired of the damage experienced by other brush on products like shellac, or SNS. 

Why is gel better then shellac and SNS? 

Shellac and SNS requires buffing of your natural nail to create a rough surface for the product to attach. Evo requires minimal buffing and effortless removal, therefore maintaining and promoting healthy natural nails. 

Shellac and SNS are made from harsh chemicals, which means these products don’t allow your nail to breath. Evo is permeable which maintains an balance of oxygen and water to the nail bed. This prevents dehydration and softening of keratin, protecting the natural nail from damage.

Q. Is this treatment safe while pregnant?

A. Yes, this treatment in safe. We have high standards when is comes to infection control and use medically grade sterilised instruments.

Q. Will you cut my cuticles?

A. No, the E-File does all the cuticle work dry using an electronic file, this is a safe way of trimming your cuticles. 

Q. What‘s the difference between visiting Manicure at LYF VS Express salons? 

A. Express salons are designed to get you in and out, therefore this means cutting corners. We have set our standard high and take the time needed to ensure a safe job is done.

Q. Do I need to bring my own nail polish? 

A. No, We have a large range of colour's for you to choose from. However, if you have a particular colour you wish to have applied out nail technician will be happy to apply for you. 

Q. How long does it take to dry? 

A. Our polishes will be touch dry after leaving your appointment, however we recommend to allow at least 1 hour after your appointment. Evo Gel is set with a UV light therefore you can go about your day as soon as you leave the clinic. 

Q. How long does the polish and gel last? 

A. Unfortunately, polish does not last long on hands we advised anywhere from 3-7 days. However, Gel is long lasting and can last up to 4 week. 

Q. I have damaged nails after having shellac, how can I improve the health of my nails?

A. We have a range of Bio Sculpture Nail Treatment, which you can add on to your treatment. They can be applied under gel or polish, or can be worn as a stand alone treatment. There are 3 different treatments, weak & brittle nails, sensitive & damaged nails, hard, dry, and ridged nails. We also sell the products so you can use at home as well to get the best results.

Q. Can I claim on my Health fund? 

A. No, unfortunately this service is not health fund claimable.
